Potluck Singing & Picking Party to Follow

With over 40 years as a professional musician, starting as a teenager, touring with such notables as Harry Nilsson and John Lee Hooker, it's surprising that Jack Williams isn't a household name. He has a stellar reputation with other musicians - at festivals it seems they all invite him to play with them. A superb, yet understated guitarist and a fine singer, Jack's songs are informed by his encyclopaedic knowledge of 20th century American popular music, with hints of blues, jazz and ragtime. Several people felt that his set at the 1999 Kerrville Folk Festival was the highlight of the 18-day festival. Stick around after the concert for a potluck singing and picking party. Bring instruments, songs, food and drink.
